There are few things I love more than a great story.

This love of stories has led me to the work of civil celebrancy and counselling, both of which have rich storytelling at their very heart. My intention as a celebrant is to work with people to tell their stories in ways which celebrate, honour and enrich their lives and relationships, with a calm and calming presence, eloquent words and a big open heart.

Marriages

It is such a delight and a privilege to conduct weddings. I love witnessing a couple tell moving stories of their relationship in ways they may have never done before. Together, we gather these stories up and weave them together to craft a ceremony which reflects the marrying couple’s hopes and values, rich in joy and meaning.

Funerals

I’ve found conducting funerals to be among the most meaningful experiences of my life, sparking a particular passion and interest in this work. I seek to hold a caring space for families and communities after bereavement, and to help honour the life and mourn the loss of their loved one in whatever ways seem most fitting.
